The temp is right when a crumb of tofu sizzles in the oil. Roll tofu sticks in the cornflour so each side is coated. Do this individually right before placing in the oil – don’t coat them all and let them sit because they won’t be as crispy Sizzling tofu sticks. Take them out with a slotted spoon when they’re golden with brown patches. Place them on kitchen towel to drain the oil. A nice plate of cripsy, golden tofu. Dip and enjoy! Made with my home-made tofu. Quick, simple (especially if you start with store-bought tofu) and delicious! Also, please check out my DIY tofu frame!
